Jay founded the Law Offices of Joseph J. Arcata III, LLC in 2024.  He was formerly a partner at two of the most prominent law firms in the region, bringing two decades of experience advising and advocating for businesses and their owners.  

Jay's practice encompasses general corporate and commercial matters, with a focus on representing businesses in the areas of financial services, manufacturing, media, technology, and waste management. He routinely advises clients on partnership issues, mergers and acquisitions, contracts, licensing, and technology-related matters.  

In addition to his transactional practice, Jay represents businesses in state and federal courts, as well as alternative dispute resolution forums.  Jay is an accomplished litigator, having tried more than ten cases to conclusion and participated in numerous mediations and arbitrations.
